Kai Zhong Precision and Toyota Tsusho Reach Strategic Partnership

In October 2020, Kaizhong Precision signed a “Framework Agreement on Strategic Cooperation” with Toyota Tsusho (China) Co., Ltd. Under the agreement, the two parties will leverage their respective strengths and resources to engage in comprehensive strategic cooperation in the field of components for new-energy vehicles. Together, they will actively explore Japanese markets and supply more new products—such as drive motor connectors, electronic control components, and battery connectors—to Japanese new-energy vehicle customers including Toyota. By seizing new business opportunities in the new-energy vehicle components sector, they aim to expand their market share and achieve win-win development.
Toyota Tsusho Corporation was established in 1948 and is affiliated with the Toyota Motor Group. Its headquarters are located in Nagoya and Tokyo, Japan, and it has a capital of 64.936 billion yen. The company is listed among the Global 500. Toyota Tsusho primarily focuses on automotive-related businesses and conducts business activities with customers around the world through a global network spanning more than 120 countries in Japan and overseas, as well as a group of over 1,000 affiliated companies.
As the specific details of subsequent agreements are further implemented and put into practice, the company’s supporting service capabilities for Japanese-language new-energy vehicle customers will be further enhanced, helping the company to seize more business opportunities, stay abreast of industry and product development trends, and further advance its three-electric system development strategy for new-energy vehicles.
